Designing a Proof of Concept for Smarter Pharmacy Insights

Scriptology was a seed-stage startup replacing spreadsheet-based workflows with a smarter, scalable dashboard for pharmacists. I led the design of a proof-of-concept product that helped identify medication inefficiencies—unlocking both clinical impact and a clear ROI story for investors and health system clients.

Replacing Spreadsheets With Strategic Insight

Scriptology’s early work lived entirely in spreadsheets, making it hard to demonstrate clinical value or operational impact. The challenge was to transform those ad hoc tools into a polished, pharmacist-facing dashboard—without real data infrastructure in place. This design work needed to do double duty: help the team land early sales and give investors a clear picture of the product's vision and viability.

This wasn’t just a UI project—it was a sales and funding tool.

Designing a Dashboard That Drives ROI

I created a modular dashboard and templated reporting system tailored to pharmacist workflows. The interface surfaced potential issues like duplicate prescriptions, missed refills, and patient adherence gaps. These insights empowered pharmacists to intervene earlier and support better medication outcomes—while showing health systems the cost savings Scriptology could deliver.
