Designing Modular Micro-Apps for the Visit Lifecycle

Modernized and streamlined provider tools to support doctors before, during, and after patient visits. Delivered greater clarity, flexibility, and workflow consistency across the telehealth care experience.

One Design, Four Contexts

Legacy workflows made telehealth visits messy and inconsistent. Critical information was scattered across different systems, making it difficult for providers to deliver efficient care. I designed modular micro apps that could flex across the visit lifecycle, helping doctors review information faster, deliver care more easily, and complete post-visit documentation with less friction.

By rethinking the provider experience around modular workflows, we created tools that supported clarity and action at every stage of the visit.

Impact

Supporting Clarity Across the Patient Visit Lifecycle

I redesigned and optimized core provider workflows by developing modular micro apps tailored to each stage of a patient visit. Before the visit, providers could easily review patient history with Today's Visit and Patient Record tools. During the visit, features like automated care program enrollment and quick referral options streamlined care delivery. After the visit, simplified notes and documentation tools helped providers complete their workflows with less friction.

By building modular components, we ensured consistency across different workflows while making it easier for teams to update, reuse, and scale the platform over time.
